Son of Walter Perry Taylor and Mary (Lohse) Taylor, Walter was a lineman in the electric shop at Whidbey Island Naval Hospital. On February 9, 1956 he married Juanita B. (Smith) Franklin in Oak Harbor. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and the Elks. He was survived by his wife. He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Stanwood King, and a half-sister, Lillian King.
