Judith Ann Hedrick
Judith Ann Hedrick (nee Williams), age 66, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on November 12, 2011 after a long illness. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, James John and Elizabeth Frances Williams.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Elizabeth and Andrew A. Cipolla of Claymont, DE, and their son, her beloved grandson, James Anthony Cipolla. She is also survived by her twin sister and brother-in-law, Julia W. and W. Michael Kirkpatrick of North Richland Hills, TX and her sister and brother-in-law, Janice W. and Gerald S. Lucas of Kennett Square, PA.
Judy worked for over 32 years for the DuPont Company, for many years at the Hotel du Pont, and until her retirement in 2002, for DuPont Facilities Services. After her retirement, she worked tirelessly for Autism Delaware where she was honored for her outstanding volunteerism.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Louis J. Centrella and Dr. Lanny Edelsohn and the nurses and aides of Delaware Hospice for their kind and compassionate care during Judy's illness.
All arrangements will be private per her wishes.
