"Thomas M. Malinski Jr., 91, of Lake Como, PA, died on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Barnes Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, PA.

He was born on September 19, 1925 in Lake Como, PA, the son of Thomas Sr. and Helen (Savinski) Malinski.

Thomas married Hilda Hunt on November 24, 1949 in Rock Lake, PA. He was US Army Air Force Sergeant, serving from 1946-1949.

Tom was a jack of all trades and worked many jobs throughout his life and finally retired from Agway in Deposit, NY, as the yard manager.

He loved camping, a good steak, but most of all he loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Hilda, 4 children, Leora Mayo, Michael and wife Sandy Malinski, Christine and husband Marty Loftus, and Linda and husband Gregory Wheeler, 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Crystal, Eileen, Miranda, Sarah, Dawn, Michael, Heidi, Lindsey, and Courtney, and 21 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by 2 sisters, Dolly Petroski and Celia Reiter and many nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by a granddaughter, Holly Westbrook, and 5 siblings, Edward, Gene, Walter, Dolores, and Julia.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 11AM-1PM with a funeral mass following at 1PM, all to be held at St. Juliana's Roman Catholic Church, Rock Lake, PA. Interment will follow in St. Juliana's Cemetery.

Donations can be made in Thomas' memory to the Northern Wayne Fire Department, 1663 Crosstown Hwy., Lakewood, PA 18439 or to St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 612 Hudson St., Forest City, PA 18421.
