Bradley Chapin, age 83, of Madison, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He was born July 30, 1933 in Kirtland, Ohio to Vesta (Frisbie) and Lowell Chapin. Bradley was married to Wylodine Lederer on August 31, 1957 at Erieside Church on the Boulevard.
Bradley was a 1953 Graduate of Harvey High School. Served in the U.S. Army in the Armor Division, spending time in Germany. After his return from the service he was employed at Addressograph-Multigraph as a Service Technician. He also worked at True Temper in Saybrook and lastly retiring as a custodian at Madison local schools. Bradley was a member of South Madison Bible Baptist Church for 40 years and served as Deacon for many years. He assisted with vacation Bible School and helped with the upkeep of the church grounds. Bradley enjoyed wood working and made many crafts for his wife to sell at local craft shows. He was an avid Cleveland Indians baseball fan.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wylodine; children, Allyson (James) Schmidt, Matthew Chapin, Martin Chapin, Jane (Rob) Hanson.
He is preceded in by two infant children; his parents; brothers, Orrin and Stanley Chapin and sister, Mae Baker.
A Memorial Service will be held at South Madison Bible Baptist Church, 5441 S. Madison Road (Rt. 528), Madison, OH on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. Following the service, lunch will be served.
The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family.
