Rose Marie Williams, age 68, of Temple died Sunday, October 9, 2016 at a local care facility. She was born on July 22, 1948 in Waco, TX to Rudolph Edward and Julia Charlene (Regmund) Hikel.

Rose graduated Waco High School in 1966; she also received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Baylor University. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple and a member of the Women's Society. She had lived in Temple since 1970. Rose was a member of SPJST Lodge 87 and NARFE Chapter 586. She retired from Olin E Teague Veterans Center after 33 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Julia Hikel.

She will be greatly missed by her son Daniel Williams of Temple, her brother Rudolph Edward Hikel II and wife Beth of Elm Mott, her sister Judith (Hikel) Little and husband Robert of Temple, her 2 nieces Sarah Little of Temple and Amy Hikel of Elm Mott, her 2 nephews Anthony Little of Temple, Rudolph Edward Hikel III of Clifton, and her grandson Clayton.

A visitation will be held from 5-8:00PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple. Interment of Rose's ashes will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 1:00PM in St. Mary Cemetery in West, TX.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Rose's honor to the Association of Frontal Temporal Dementia at 290 King of Prussia Rd.
