Mr. Johnny William Bryant, 64, of Royston, GA passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.

Mr. Bryant was born on December 17, 1951 in Hickory NC, son of the late James Clark Bryant and the late Cora Freeman Bryant Karr. He was raised in the home of his paternal grandmother, Emily Jane Sanders Bryant. He was a machine operator having worked at DuPont and a charter member of Vanna Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Gail Young.

Survivors include daughters, Joy (Mike) Howell of Lavonia, GA, Tammie Day of Bowersville, GA and Beth (Chad) Fletcher of Eastanollee, GA; former wife, Carol Bryant; brothers, Robert Bryant of Royston, GA, James Bryant of Canon, GA, Rev. Gene Wells of Manassas, VA and Barry Hicks of Anderson, SC; and sister, Delane B. Phillips of Vanna, GA; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 with Rev. Gene Wells and Mr. Barry Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowman, GA.

The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Saturday afternoon. The family will be at their respective homes.
