Son of Norma Colwell Beck-Eaton
Husband of Colleen Carlton Beck
Father of Melinda Beck-Galloway, John & Ilona Beck
Brother of Pam Beck-Thompson, Bob & Tom Beck

Greg grew up on a horse ranch in Lakeside, San Diego Co., Calif. While attending El Capitan High School in Lakeside, he was active in FFA, track, and was the captain of his cross country team.
He loved to work and create with his hands. He was a general contractor and worked in residential construction most of his life, owning and operating Timberline Construction in San Diego, Calif. for many years, before moving to Emory, Texas where he and his wife owned and operated High Valley Ranch, breeding, raising and selling Gypsy Cob horses.
He loved his family and the quality time spent with his grandchildren when they came to visit every summer. He loved horses, fishing, target shooting, water and snow skiing, hosting BBQs, and cooking family holiday meals for his large extended family.
He lived life to it's fullest despite his health, which was not always good. For 29 years he battled cancer off and on valiantly, silently, stoically and bravely. No one would ever know he felt bad, or was tired...he kept right on going? He always wanted to know how 'YOU' were doing.
He is survived by his wife, three children, seven grandchildren, one brother, mother and step-father. He was preceded in death by his younger sister and brother.
Greg loved the Lord and was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church in Alba, Texas.
His body was laid to rest on October 15, 2016, in Turner Cemetery, Emory, Rains Co., Texas.
