Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joseph, for Rose A. Court, 81, 35 Ash St. W, who died Thursday at St Cloud Hospital. The Rev. Dan Ward, OSB, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Council of Catholic Women and St Joseph Senior Citizens will pray 4 p so. Sunday at the funeral home, followed by parish prayers at 7 and St. Joseph American Legion Auxiliary at 7:30.
Rose A. Court was born Sept 1, 1914, in St. Joseph to Joseph and Margaret (Fiedler) Pfannenstein. She married Mathew Court May 1, 1944, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in St. Joseph. She lived in St. Joseph her entire life. She was employed by the College of St Benedict for 19 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Senior Citizens, Council of Catholic Women, and St. Joseph American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Vouk, St. Stephen; Carol Schwegel, West Richland, Wash.; Rosie "AJ.," St. Cloud; Mary Stotko, St. Joseph; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband (July 24, 1977); brothers, John, Ben and Bill; and sisters, Elizabeth Reber, Lou Bruns, and Bertha Notsch.
