Mr. Paul Vernon Gregory, age 82 of Franklin, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Hopkins Nursing and Rehab Center in Woodburn. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday at 10am with burial to follow in Hillsdale Cemetery. A native of Simpson County, he was the son of the late Leslie Paul Gregory and Eula Faye Law Gregory. He was retired from Dana Corp. and served as pastor at Hillsdale and Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Churches and was a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by his wife – Nerma Alberta Whited Gregory; 4 children – Charlotte Lee Ford, Sheila Paulette Johns, Tina Gail Gregory and Phillip Vernon Gregory and 1 sister – Alice Faye Finn. Survivors include 4 children – Richard Dennis Gregory of Cadiz, KY, Janice Ellen Johnson of Bowling Green, Tammy Lynn Garrett of Franklin and Leslie Alexander Gregory of Franklin; 2 brothers – William Earl Gregory of Franklin and Wilfred Cody Gregory of Cottontown, TN; 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 3pm Tuesday and after 6am Wednesday at Crafton Funeral Home
