She was the daughter of Clarence and Marie (Roberts) Vincent. She married twice and survived both husbands. On Mar 17,1943, in Panama, she married Sheldon Ferree, who died on Dec 29, 1990. On Dec 31, 1995, she married Robert Schneider, who died in May 16, 2002.
Surviving are a son, Donald V. (Janice), Huntsville, AL; a daughter, Nanette (Leonard) Crosley, Dunedin, FL; and four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Deceased is a granddaughter, Angela Ferree.
Employed as a civilian for the U.S. Navy in the Panama Canal Zone in 1943, during the war, she volunteered for the Red Cross and was a telephone operator at various command posts. She spent 52 years as a legal/executive secretary in the Sidney area. Her love was music. She was a concert pianist and taught piano and pipe organ. She traveled with her Hammond organ and played for many events. She wrote many beautiful songs. She was a dual member of Trinity Chapter and Pleiades Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading, writing music and poetry, and having coffee with her friends. She loved the Lord and would often light candles and hold prayer vigils for loved ones.
At her request, the body has been cremated with graveside interment at Graceland Cemetery.
