After her children were in school, Iris went to work for the Superintendent of Public Instruction as a supervisor in Data Entry. She worked there for 26 years, retiring in 1978.
Iris loved to cook, sew and garden. She provided many family get-togethers with wonderful dinners. We all especially looked forward to her fried oysters.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years; son, Gerald (Miles) Cline; and granddaughter, Kathy CIine. She is survived by her children Clifford E. Cline (Lisa) Connecticut; Rebecca A. Stillwell (Steve) Rochester; Vicky L. Davey, Selah; special daughter, Marilyn Belgarde, Rhode Island; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
