Frederick Van Richardson of Southport, FL was born on July 25th, 1934. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday October 8th, 2016. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his family and church more than anything. He made a living by logging and shrimping the majority of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents Aden and Lena Richardson of Southport, FL, a sister Minnie Lee Riley and a brother Ellra Lynn Richardson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Wilma Richardson. Three brothers, AJ (Boncile), Mack, and Nick Richardson, One sister Carolyn Duke. 6 children: Glen Richardson (Nita), Randi Richardson, Dell Richardson, Angi Bennett (Richie), Connie Shadrick (Leon), Tal Richardson. 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3P.M. Tuesday, October 11,2016 at Sandhills Assembly Of God with Rev. Nixon Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Southport cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
