Thomas Brian Mozingo of Centreville, died Saturday October 1, 2016 at Christiana Hospital due to an automobile accident. He was 20 years old.

Born on June 22, 1996, in Annapolis, MD., he was the son of Thomas R. Mozingo and Lisa Clow Mozingo of Centreville. Tommy graduated from Queen Anne’s County High School in 2014, where he studied auto mechanics. Tommy loved cars; he was constantly working on his own car trying to make it louder, lower, etc. Eventually Tommy moved from this trade to work for his father as a steamfitter, doing HV/AC and refrigeration. He excelled in this job, as he did in anything he put his mind to. Tommy lived for his family and friends. No matter how early he had to get up the next morning, he would drive to the Food Lion parking lot in Centreville to relax with his friends. Tommy lived his short life to the fullest, always brave and strong, never doubting himself. His strong-willed personality and big heart will be forever missed.

In addition to his parents, Tommy is survived by his older sister Shelly Mozingo Armiger, twin brother Raymond Mozingo, and brother-in-law Matthew Armiger; maternal grandparents Louis and Marguerite “Retsy” Clow of Rhodesdale, MD; and great aunt Margaret Bennett of Bowie, MD.

Visitations will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newman Funeral Home, P.A. in Centreville, MD, where a service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11am. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for contributions to be made in Tommy’s name to the Queen Anne’s County Fire Department of your choice, for their help in trying to prevent this tragedy; Centreville Fire Department, Church Hill Fire Company, or Queenstown Fire Company.
