She is survived by her devoted longtime companion, James Allen Sr. of Carville; mother, Elnora T. Arnold of Plaquemine; two daughters, Patricia Arnold and Cherry Arnold, both of Carville; five sisters, Bishop Vera Brown of Prairieville, Rose Kelly and Stella and husband Gregory Jackson, all of Plaquemine, and Deane Shaw and Julia Scott, both of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Edward "Lil Bro," James Michael and John Arnold, all of Plaquemine; a grandchild, Vershanti Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including a special sister-in-law, Daisy Goodland.
She was preceded in death by her father, three sisters and a brother.
She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Plaquemine.
