Ronnie Dean Parker, 63, of Pittsburg, Kansas died at 4:26 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Medicalodge South.
Ronnie was born July 27, 1953 in Pittsburg, Kansas the son of Charles E. and Nina M. (Pryor) Parker.
Ronnie grew up in Pittsburg where he attended school. He was a 1965 graduate from Pittsburg High School.
As a young boy, he enjoyed playing baseball and fishing the river with his dad and brothers.
After high school, he was a member of the Kansas National Guard.
He also worked as a laborer for McNally Foundry until 1980 then went to work at Pitt Plastic until health problems disabled him.
He is survived by two sons, Nicholas R. Parker of Pittsburg and Wes Parker and wife Kimberly of Waterville, Kansas.
Additional survivors are two brothers, Allen Parker and wife Corrine, and Bill Parker and wife Tammy of Mulberry, Kansas; one sister, Betty Jameson and husband Dennis of Pittsburg; four grandchildren, Austin, Kate, Andrew and Derek Parker. He also has several nephews and nieces.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nina Parker.
Graveside services will be at Garden of Memories October 15, 2016 at 2 p.m.
