Storti, retired Postal Carrier, United States Post Office, Brooklyn, NY and five year resident of the area, died Thursday, April 8, 2004 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Goshen, NY. He was 87. The son of Edward Storti and Fernanda Conti Storti, both deceased, he was born May 23, 1916 in Rochester, NY. He was married to the late Mary Fontana Storti, for 46 years. Mr Storti was a member of St. Patrick's church, Highland Mills; member Woodbury Golden Agers, Highland Mills; member Woodbury American Legion Post # 779; Veteran of United States Army, Serving during WWII and member of the Knights of Columbus, Brooklyn, NY. Survivors include his son, Robert J. Storti and wife Kathie of Gardiner, NY; brothers: Dominick Storti of Rochester, NY and Paul Storti of Rochester, NY; sisters: Josephine Storti of Rochester, NY, Emma Bosco of Rochester, NY, Pauline Cropo of Rochester, NY and Mary DeFelice of Newark, NY; two grandchildren: Robert L. Storti and Denise M. Storti-Biemer; one great grandchild, Micaela Biemer; two step grandchildren: Kim Ihrig and Melyhda Caswell, as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2004 at Smith, Seaman and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 515 Route 32 Highland Mills, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Route 32, Highland Mills, NY. Burial will be in Cemetery of the Highlands, Highland Mills, NY.
