Ursula F. Dimas, age 64, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
Ursula was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM.
Ursula graduated from West Mesa High School in 1970 and received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Albuquerque in 1974. Ursula retired after 25 years of service as a Special Education Teacher for the Albuquerque Public School system.
Ursula loved having her grandchildren around her, she enjoyed planning parties and having family gatherings and watching the news.
Ursula was preceded in death by her father, Justin Zimmerly.
Ursula is survived by her loving children, Magdalena Glazebrook (Zac), Adam R. Dimas (Autumn), Albert Dimas (Nicole) and Vincent Dimas (Brittanny) and six grandchildren. Also surviving are her loving mother, Frances Zimmerly, her siblings, Steven Zimmerly, Bernadette Mares (Ruben), Patricia Zimmerly, Justine Carter (Scott), Tim Zimmerly (Theresa) and Anna Castell and many other relatives and friends.
Ursula will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St. NW, Albuquerque, where a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St. NW. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Adam Dimas, Albert Dimas, Vincent Dimas, Zac Glazebrook, Tim Zimmerly and Scott Carter.
