She was born November 16, 1943, in Kentucky, to Mart W. and Laura B. (Stone) Dugan. On September 26, 1959, in Prestonburg, Kentucky, she married Thomas M. Hamilton, who preceded her in death June 4, 2006.
As a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, best friend, and memaw, Sally spent her days always active. Whether talking over the phone for hours with sister, Brenda, or sneaking away to garage sales and ice cream with sister, Louise, she never had much free time. Sally loved trips to the zoo and Put-In-Bay with her great grandkids, as well as watching her plants and garden grow and watching movies. Her down time was always spent reading magazines and books and enjoying sleep-overs.
Sally is celebrated in life by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Dan Sondergeld; grandchildren, Andrew (Jeanine) and Amanda (Mike); and great-grandchildren, Maison, Abby, Preston, and Peyton; two beloved sisters, Louise and Brenda; thoughtful nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her forever love, Tom; four sisters, Linda, Lu, Esther, and Chris; and one brother, Rocky.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, October 10, 2016, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, with the graveside service to following at 11:30 a.m. in Clay Township Cemetery.
