George was the son of George Albert Mosher, Senior and Adelia Louise Williams.
George graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in history. After graduation he joined the Navy and attended Officer's Candidate School in Newport, RI. He served as a communications officer.
Survived by his wife, five children, 23 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and his sister.
