GIBSON, JEANNETTE E., 91, passed away peacefully Saturday April 20, 2013 in Louisville.

She was born in Jersey City, NJ on January 28, 1922 to the late Harry and Florence Williams Pink. Jeannette was a RN working for both Cedar Manor NH and Briarcrest NH in Ossining, NY. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Leonard Gibson; and first husband, Charles W. Parker, Sr. (World War II deceased), along with her brother William St. John.

Left to carry on her beautiful memory are children, Charles W. Parker Jr., Gayle Talavera (Bill) and Lang Gibson (Tracy); grandchildren, William Murphy (Alyssa), gayle Smith (Brett), Charles W. Parker III (Debbie, and Sallyann Nichols (David); as well as eight great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff at Glen Ridge Healthcare Facility for the care shown to Jeannette and her family.

Private services have been scheduled. Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, Louisville, has been entrusted with arrangements.
