Judy "Ju Ju" Haynes

Judy “Ju Ju” Haynes, 79, of Pampa died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, in Pampa.

Services will be at 4:00 PM Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, at Briarwood Church with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Haynes was born June 11, 1937 in Eunice, New Mexico and had lived in Pampa most of her life. She married Nate Haynes in October of 1953 in Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1991.

Judy was an avid volunteer with Special Olympics where she was known as “Grandma Ju Ju” to so many. She was one of the first volunteers at Kids’ Café where she volunteered for many years. Later, Kids’ Café became “Feeding the Flock” at Briarwood Church, where Judy loved to attend. Judy loved her friends and family and is going to be missed by all.

Survivors include two daughters, Shelly Dyer and husband Shane and Ken McGuire, all of Pampa; a son, Ronnie Haynes and wife Denise of Pampa; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dale Haynes, and by three sisters and two brothers.
