"John Cadotte, 77, a former resident of Eveleth and more recently of Kelly Lake, who died in Duluth last Saturday, was buried in the local cemetery following funeral services held in the St. Patrick's church yesterday morning. The Rev. W. J. Powers officiated and the body lay in state at the Helps Mortuary until the time of the services.
Mr. Cadotte was born in Canada on January 19, 1862 and came to Eveleth in 1904, where he was employed until 1925 as a carperter. He moved to California remaining there until a year ago. Surviving are two sons, Russel of Kelly Lake and Adolph of Duluth; two daughters, Delphine of Stockton, California, and Mrs. Ann Harris of Denver, Colorado and a brother, Piopui of Canada."
