Jere Thomas Little, 82, passed away October 6, 2016 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be 1pm-3pm Sunday at First Baptist Church, Crystal Springs. Services will be 3pm Sunday at First Baptist Church with burial at Terry Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mr. Little was a native of Dyersburg, TN and a U. S. Army veteran. He lived in Greenwood, where he met his wife. He worked with Mobile Communications of America in the early 1970's and later Western Union Telegraph Company. In 1970 he and his family moved to Jackson where he later retired from Skytel. He had lived in Terry for the past 30 years. Mr. Little was a member of First Baptist Church, Crystal Springs.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Monroe "Jim" Little.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Jane Little of Terry, daughter, Elizabeth J. "Libby" Edmonds (John) of Terry; grandchildren, Lawson Edmonds of Ole Miss and Lauren Elizabeth Edmonds of Terry.
