On Friday at approximately 3 pm, the Barren Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a single vehicle accident on Roseville Road near the intersection of Renfro Road. Helen Ashby, age 74, of Glasgow was pronounced dead as a result of the injuries she sustained when her 2007 Ford Taurus went off the right side of the roadway and struck 2 trees before coming to rest on its driver’s side. The Barren County Sheriff’s department is continuing their investigation at this time.
