Douglas Lee Elliott, age 74, of Malden, MO, died Thursday, October 06, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mr. Elliott was born June 13, 1942 in Fisk, MO. He formerly worked at Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Malden. He later worked at SRG Global in Portageville and retired June 30, 2015. He was formerly married to Elois Peck. On December 18, 1975 he married Sonja Jane Borders at Malden, MO, she survives. Also surviving are two daughters: Sandra Kay Elliott-Ball of De Soto, MO, and Courtney Jane Curtis of Springfield, MO; one son: David Lee Elliott of Kansas City, MO; three sisters: Shirley Stanford of Fisk, MO, Myra Dever of Dresden, TN, and Marie Williams of Hillsboro, MO; three brothers: Roy Elliott of Granbury, TX, James Elliott of Festus, MO, and John Elliott of Poplar Bluff, MO; five grandchildren Kendra Kay McKinney, of Bonne Terre, MO, Cassie Curtis, of Springfield, MO, Jarred Harralston, Tiffany Elliot, and David T. Elliott all of Kansas City, MO; four great-grandchildren Matthew Menzel, Michaela McKinney, Adrianna Ferrante, and Vivian Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry M, and Lillie M. Elliott; one sister: Juanita Davis; and two brothers Gerald Henry Elliott, and Walter Elliott. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 12:00 PM at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Thomas Hargrove officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley, Missouri.
