DEATH CLAIMS MOTHER
Mrs. Minnie McDonough Passes Away Rather Unexpectedly
Mrs. Minnie McDonough, wife of Jas. B. McDonough, died this morning at 5:30 at St. John's hospital. She is survived by a husband and four children, two girls and two boys, the oldest six years old, the youngest one day, as well as her father and mother, a sister and a brother. The body has been removed to her mother's residence, 122 Grant street. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 a.m., from the Cathedral of the Sacred Hearts. Interment will be in Resurrection cemetery.

FUNERAL THIS MORNING
Friends Pay Parting Tribute to Memory of Mrs. McDonough.
The funeral of Mrs. Minnie McDonough, who died in this city Wednesday morning, was held this morning from the Cathedral of Sacred Hearts. Services were held at the home of Mrs. Knowlton, on Grand street, at 8.40 o'clock and at 9 o'clock at the Cathedral of Sacred Hearts. Mass at the cathedral was conducted by Rev. Father Ahern. Father Joyce conducted the services at the graveside.
Mrs. McDonough had numerous friends in Helena and many were gathered at the cathedral this moring to pay tribute to her memory.
The pallbearers were George Kranich, Dan Hawks, Jacob Lagenbach, Louis Kuntz, O.H. Judd and John Darfler. Interment was in Forestvale.

Minnie Maude Coulter was born on February 24, 1883, in Maryville, Missouri to Cassius Armstrong and Zella (Neal) Coulter. She married James Bartholomew McDonough on January 29, 1903 in Boulder, Colorado. They were the parents of Edith Marie Louise (1904–1972), Wren (1906–1919), Vesta May (1907–1965), and Charles Coulter (1909–1939). She died on April 14, 1909, in Helena, Montana at the age of 26.
