Viola L. Kershner, 69, of Franklin, died Friday, October 22, 1993 at Franklin County Memorial Hospital.
Services were at 2 p.m. today at Hutchins Funeral Home of Franklin with the Rev David Bronstad officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Franklin.
She was born December 17, 1923 in Franklin County to Earl and Frances (Strayer) Hughes. She graduated from Franklin Schools.
On August 9, 1966, she married Gordon Kershner in Smith Center, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Robert Brophy of Raymond, and Gerald Kershner of Minden; daughter Vaunda Schwenck of Franklin; brothers Richard, Tonganoxie, Kansas and Don of Bloomington; sisters, Nettie Tolle of Litchfield, Erla Bradshaw of Bloomington, Wilma Eddy of Omaha, Kay Albers of Hildreth and Margaret Clark of Kearney; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
