Laura was born to a family of eight in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Alex and Mary Alexander Meadows.
She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. After retiring from the Keebler Cookie Company, she served as a Bailiff at the Forsyth County Courthouse and was long-time volunteer at Northside Hospital Forsyth.
Laura enjoyed an active life throughout her years to include fishing, crocheting, NASCAR and baseball.
Survivors included her husband of 70 years, Horace Perry, Sr.; sons, Horace Perry, Jr. and Bobby (Maggie) Perry, all of Cumming, Georgia; grandchildren, Tim Perry, Renee Haley, Holly Hill and Buck Perry, and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services where held Saturday, October 8, at 4:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Richard and Rev. Garry English officiating. Interment followed at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Cumming, Georgia.
