Arthur F. Miramontes, 19, of Woodland, CA was killed by Viet Cong rifle fire while serving with the 1st Air Cavalry in South Vietnam.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Lupe Miramontes of the Yolo County seat, died on Friday, October 27th. He was a 1966 graduate of Woodland High School and had been in Vietnam since April after enlisting in December of 1965.
He is survived by his parents, Lupe and Jessie Miramontes, brothers Nicholas, Joe, Rudolph and Robert and sisters, Mrs. Robert Ortiz, Mrs. Gilbert Zaragoza and Mrs. Alfred Garcia.
Funeral arrangements are in care of McNary's Funeral Chapel with Rosary at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Friday, November 3rd and burial at Monument Hill Memorial Park in Woodland, CA.
