Sondra Kay "Sony" Lewis 71, of Whiteland, died January 7, 2011 at home. She was born on September 19, 1939, a daughter of Leo Russell and Mable Marie (Hants) Ware. She married Paul L. Lewis on June 26, 1970. He survives. Other survivors include sons, William Aaron Farno of New Castle, IN, James Brian Farno of Whiteland, IN, Robert Craig Farno of New Orleans, LA, Jeffery Dale Farno of Miramar, FL, and Ron Allen Lewis of Indianapolis, IN. Also surviving is her sister Constance "Connie" Newman of Tampa, FL; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and 3 cousins. Sony was a registrar for Crossroads of America Council BSA for 15 years. She was a former member of New Whiteland Christian Church and a member of the American Guild Society. She was a volunteer with Pack 210 at Rocklane Christian Church and an assistant scout master with Troup 615 BSA and very active with the Pathfinder District BSA. Sony was an avid sports fan and also belonged to Beta Sigma Phi. A visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Rose Ellen Small

Rose Ellen Small, 71, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis.

Survivors include two daughters, Darla Whelchel and Cheryl (Robert) Allen, both of Indianapolis; five sons, Ricky (Debbie) Small of Greenwood, Terry (Robin) Small of Hubert, N.C., and Tom (Brenda), Kevin and Randy (Donna) Small, all of Indianapolis; 30 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1150 State Road 144, Mooresville.
