The autopsy report, obtained Tuesday by the Kalamazoo Gazette from the Lee County, Fla., Medical Examiner's Office, lists the cause of Wright's death as "hypertensive cardiovascular disease." It lists "chronic ethanolism" (alcoholism) as a contributing factor.
Mr. Bill Wright of Kalamazoo, MI. passed away in his Ft. Myers, FL. condominium on Saturday afternoon, December 28, 2013.
Mr. Wright, until recently (October 2013) was a co-owner of the Seelye-Wright Auto Group in Kalamazoo, MI and was well known for his commercials in which he would point to prospective buyers and exclaim, "Yes, we can!"
Wright was president of the former Kalamazoo Kings semi-professional baseball team and was known for his work helping abused and neglected children in the Kalamazoo area through his Wright for Kids foundation.
Mr. Wright was a person with a huge personality but had a bigger heart for children. The kids of Kalamazoo, MI. were blessed by his generosity.
