Mr. Roy Lee Sherman, 95, of Greenville passed on October 3. 2016, at Greenville Rehabilitation Center. He was a son of the late Rome Westfield and Sadie Jackson Sherman.
Surviving daughters, Patricia S. (Clarence) Whittenburg of Simpsonville, Doris S. Jones of Greenville, Dorothy S. (Lawrence) Smith of Chatsworth, CA and Carolyn Milom of Tuckahoe, NY; son, Roy Lee (Kelli) Sherman, Jr. of Manhattan, NY; sisters, Bernice Washington, Cora Stephens and Dorothy Robertson, all of Laurens; brother, Alonza Westfield of New Jersey, nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, October 7, 2016, 2:pm at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the mortuary.
