Velda Mae Molle, 80, of Hanson, KY passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
Mrs. Molle was born July 15, 1936 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Louis Pressley and Lillian Lowe Pressley. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, L.H. Jones in 1990 and one brother, Homer Pressley.
She was a member of Hanson Baptist Church. She worked for the Madisonville and Hanson Post Office where she retired after 20 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Molle of Hanson; two sons, Danny Ray Jones of Madisonville and Eddie Wayne (Mary) Jones of Hanson; one sister, Bobbie (Douglas) Creasy of Princeton, KY; one brother, Roger Pressley of Madisonville; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Jill, Brandon, Ross, Mark, Jason, and Eric; three step-sons, Kevin Molle of Wyoming, Devry (Margaret) Molle of Wisconsin, and Dennis Molle of Hanson; and numerous great grands, and one great great grand.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Branson officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and 10:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Patterson, Dane Duncan, Kyle Dennard, Ross Molle, Brandon Molle, Derek Tronzo. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Molle, Jason Molle, and Eric Molle.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hanson Baptist Church. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
