Mancha Madison Clews, 91, died Dec. 16, 2006 at his home in Jensen Beach. He was born in France and lived in Jensen Beach 12 years, coming from Philadelphia.
Before retirement, he was an electrical engineer and established in Malvern, PA, a family boat business, Clews and Strawbridge, which was the first marine and Saab automobile dealership in the United States.
He graduated from Cambridge University in England, and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Margaret Strawbridge Clews; sons, Henry Madison Clews of Hanover, NH; and Christopher Strawbridge Clews of Portsmouth, NH; daughter, Sylvan Strawbridge Clews of Newport, RI; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach.
