Services for Sherry Youngblood, 68, were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mescalero Baptist Church with the Revs. Kevin Oakley, David Malone and Roy Almaroad officiating. Burial followed in Browning Cemetery in New Mexico under the direction of Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.

Mrs. Youngblood died October 18 in Amarillo.

She was director of the Hi-Plains Day Care Services and a member of Mescalero Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John Youngblood of Amarillo; mother, Faye A. Taylor of Palestine; three children, Lisa Farrar of Nashville, Tenn., William Farrar of Abbott, Texas, and Dwain Ward of McGregor; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Max Taylor of Corsicana; one sister, Lota Clark of Palestine.
