PARKER CITY--Michael D. Hodson, 75, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 at his residence. He was born Feb. 1 1941 in Muncie, the son of Ivan and Ruby (Rhoads) Hodson.

Mike graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1959 and attended Tool & Die Trade School in Chicago for three years. He was employed with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 4-Indiana/Kentucky for 50 years. He was a member of the Amvets, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Men's Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Moose Lodge.

Mr. Hodson was a Mustang enthusiast, but especially enjoyed rebuilding cars. He also enjoyed playing golf.

He is survived by his children, Tracy Fausset, Joni Clark (husband-Greg), Brad Hodson, Bret Hodson (wife-Kelly), and Mark Hodson (wife-Andrea); eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his mother, Ruby Hodson; his sister, Beth Angel; his brother, Gary Hodson (wife-Sandy); special friend, Lois Garcia; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; wife, Patsy Hodson; a son, Kevin Hodson; and a brother, Jim Hodson.

Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Windsor. The family would like to invite everyone to a celebration of life gathering at the Amvets Post 12, 7621 N. St. Rd. 3, immediately following the burial. Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary or one hour prior to services on Saturday. Memorials may be directed to the Amvets Post 12, 7621 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, IN 47303.
