She was born Dec. 7, 1958, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Robert F. Fieldson and Rosemary (Hixenbaugh) Fieldson Horn.
She married Edward A. Bell on July 18, 1987. He survives in Stump Creek.
Eleanor was a 1977 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School. Throughout her life, she worked for Ideal Products, Saint Marys Carbon and the U.S. Post Office in DeLancey. She loved gardening and her beloved cats.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mellisa Schoening of DuBois; four brothers, Steve Fieldson of Stump Creek, Rich (Linda) Fieldson of Washington, Pa., Ronnie May of Orlando, Florida, and Matt (Tammy) Horn of DuBois; and several nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Walker; her great-grandmother who raised her, Haddie Zatsick; and her grandmother, Eleanor Hixenbaugh.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in Sykesville.
Services will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Sykesville Memorial Cemetery.
The family suggests that donations be made to any animal care organization or Penn Highlands Hospice.
