He worked for Ford Motors Co. in Detroit for 28 years.
He was a member of the Fountaintown Christian Church.
William died in 1954 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Funeral arrangements were by L.V. Hauk. Rev. Robert Reeves officated the funeral. William was buried in the Fountaintown Cemetery.
