She was born December 4, 1961, in Orlando, Florida, the daughter of Clifford L. and Velma L. (Mitchell) Harris. She married Joe Zefo.
She is survived by her mother, Velma L. Harris of Galesburg; two children, Leslie (and Scott) Aska of Belvidere, Illinois and Joe Zefo II of Galesburg; three grandchildren, Katie, Tony, and Aubrey Aska; a brother, Stan (and fiancé Gail Williams) Harris of Morton, Illinois; two sisters, Beverly Harris of Gardena, California and Tracey Harris of Moline, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and three sisters, Corinne Harris, Janet Harris, and Pamela Harris.
Ginger had been the assistant manager at Shell in Peoria. She most recently worked for Happy Joes. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1980. She attended Northwoods Community Church.
Cremation will be accorded. Celebration of Life service will be in the spring. Memorial contributions in Ginger’s name may be made to the family.
