Marilyn Louise (Carrie) Bilskie peacefully received her call home on Saturday October 1, 2016 around 11:37 am. Marilyn was born on May 30, 1936 in Vincennes, Indiana and completed her battle with cancer; while her family offered comfort in her home.
Marilyn had a life filled with dedication and love. Marilyn was a loyal daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother; with a lifetime of Love and Compassion offered to everyone. Marilyn made sure that anyone in her home had a full belly and plenty of hugs and kisses before leaving.
Marilyn was preceded in her call home by her Mother; Jewell Carrie and Father James Carrie. Marilyn’s Son Jeff Bilskie and her great grand-daughter Caitlyn are waiting for her as she leaves our world and moves on to Heaven.
Marilyn has received her call home ahead of her siblings; Dottie Preusz, Beverly Preusz, and baby brother Larry Carrie. Marilyn left a lifetime of love for her Husband, Leonard August Bilskie and their children Leonard Jr, James Sr, and Larry Bilskie. Marilyn has been a mother to Tamara and Barbara Bilskie as a loving Mother In-Law. The Grandchildren of Marilyn celebrate her compassion and include Misty Eblin, Shanna Bilskie, Angie Callahan, Hiedi Crump, and James Bilskie Jr. Marilyn was able to share her passion of being a great-grandmother with Micheal and Mason Callahan, as well as, Ethan, Cody, and Charley Crump.
Marilyn was dedicated to being a mother to all, and she accomplished this, every day of her life. The family will celebrate her life with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday October 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Fleck officiating.
