Miguel C. Apodaca passed away in Albuquerque on September 23, 2016. He was 75. He was born on September 28, 1940 in Fierro to Jose and Luz Carasco Apodaca.

Mr. Apodaca was a former owner and operator of a Texaco and Diamond Shamrock gas stations. He worked as a mechanic, and upholsterer, a uranium minor for Gulf and Kerr-McGee Mines.
He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family. He was deeply loved and will be missed.

He is survived by his Children: Matilda Leake and her husband Brian, Dennis Apodaca and his wife Cilette, Isidoro Apodaca and his wife Risanne, Anita Apodaca, Lucia Francis and her husband James, Miguel Apodaca Jr. and his wife Cindy and Anthony Apodaca, 17 Grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. His siblings: Tony Apodaca, Rito Apodaca, Rudy Apodaca and Josephina Gallegos, along with numerous other relatives that survive him.

He was preceded in death by his Wife: Shirley Trujillo Apodaca who passed away on December 27, 1999; his Parents: Jose and Luz Carasco Apodaca; his Brothers: Jesus Apodaca, Lorenzo Apodacaa and Jose Apodaca.

Funeral services were on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 and Burial followed at the Grants Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were: Joseph Apodaca, Jerry Warden, Brandon Warden, Dustin Leake, Devin Apodaca and Dennis Apodaca.

Honorary Pallbearers were: Nathan Francis and Ethan Francis.
