The daughter of Michael and Nancy Jane Bostwick, she was born at Kennett September 21, 1905. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hayti.
At Bragg City on November 6, 1920, she was married to Clinton (Shifty) Winters and five children were born to them. Two sons preceded her in death, one in infancy and Clinton Winters Jr. in 1945.
She leaves her husband, Clinton Winters of Hayti; a son, Bill (Buddy) Winters of Aurora, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Burns of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Mrs. Mary Alice Stallings of Marshall, Ill.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
