Charlie was born July 21, 1934, in San Angelo to Chloye and Lloyd Ditmore. He graduated from Howard Payne University and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his first wife, Pearlie, had five children and moved to Fort Worth in 1963.
Charlie spent his life serving the Lord, ministering through local churches, and retired from F & D Head Company. He met and married Marvalou Bloomfield in 1995. They lived their life in River Oaks.
Charlie was preceded in death by Pearlie in 1993 and great-granddaughter, Jennabeth Ditmore.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Marvalou Bloomfield Ditmore; daughter, Estelee and husband, Dan Benoit; son, Robert and wife, Dianne Ditmore; son, Tommy Ditmore and wife, Melody Sweeny; son, Mike and wife, Shiela Ditmore; son, Jimmy Ditmore; step-children, Barry and wife, Christina Shaw, Donna Burns, and Sherry and husband, Jason Redden; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
