Mallory Brewer of Pittsburgh, PA passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2016. She was born June 16, 1989 in Grand Rapids, MI. Mallory is the daughter of Mary (Anthon) and Steve Brewer of Grand Rapids.

Mallory was a graduate of Catholic Central class of 2007.

She was an avid gymnast during high school and college years. She was named the 2004 Level 9 National Champion after claiming first-place in the all-around competition. In 2006 she took second in the floor exercise at the Junior Olympic National meet. She trained that summer at the United States Olympic Training Center as a member of the 2006 Level 10 National team, where she captured second in the all-around competition, second-place in the floor exercise, third on the vault and third on the beam as a part of the national team. Mallory received a gymnastics scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh. In 2011 she was the first Panther gymnast to take first place at the Eagle Championship on Floor exercises with a score of 9.95.

In 2011 she received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and went on to earn her Masters in Marketing Administration from The University of Pittsburgh's Katz Graduate School of Business. In 2012 Mallory became the Marketing Director of Strategic Financial Design in Pittsburgh.

Mallory had an infectious smile that could brighten the darkest days. She was only with us for a short time but made every day count by living her life to the fullest. She touched so many lives with her love and kindness. Mallory will be missed by her family, friends and co-workers but the joy and love she gave us will live in our hearts forever.

Mallory's family will greet friends on Thursday, September 1st at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Road NW Walker, MI 49534. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday September 2nd at the Cathedral of St. Andrew 215 Sheldon Blvd SE.
