Doris “Doddie” McKinney Bishop, 83 years of age, departed this life on Saturday. October 1st, 2016 at the Clark Memorial Hospital.
Doddie was a native of Burkesville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Elbert and Mattie McKinney.
Doddie was survived by two sons, Damon L. Bishop of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Robert W. Bishop of Jeffersonville, Indiana; one daughter, Donna McDonald of Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert McKinney and Mattie McKinney; one daughter, Terresa A. Bishop; and brothers and sisters.
Visitations were held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at the E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6th, 2016 in the Chapel of the E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
