Cynthia "Cindy" Murray (Wood) passed away with family by her side at home on September 2nd in Sheridan, Ca at the age of 52.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband Johnny Murray, her children Michael and Amber Otten, Kira and Austin Hawkins and her grandchildren Leah, Chloe, Abby, Everett and Elliot as well as countless other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Martha Joan Turner and her father Maxwell Wood.

Cindy was born on January 27, 1964 in Eloise, Michigan to Martha Joan Myhan and Maxwell Wood.

She was raised in the Antelope Valley area of southern California and San Antonio, Texas. Cindy moved to the Sacramento area in 1985 and loved her job as a hairdresser and confidant for the last 30 years. As she said "Beautifying the Sacramento area one hairdo at a time". Cindy was accomplished at connecting with people and making them feel at ease. She never met a stranger only friends she didn't know yet. She was a generous, fun loving individual who loved her family, animals, traveling, having new adventures and anything Christmas. Cindy's Christmas countdown would start the day after Christmas and who was passionate about animals, often bringing them home. Cindy will be remembered for the countless lives she touched both human and animal with her compassion and love.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held in Sheridan, CA. The family would like to thank all of "Cindy's Angels" for the love and support you all shared with us in taking care of Cindy!
