Rodney N. Barker was born April 24, 1953 in Bolivar, MO, the son of I.N. and Virginia Barker. He died October 2, 2016 at the age of 63. He was united in marriage to Angela Stall on December 23, 1988 in Mesa, Arizona.

Rodney served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, before becoming an aircraft engineer, where he retired from Boing three years ago. He enjoyed sailing, flying, traveling, visiting his family in Missouri and farming at his farm in Skidmore, Texas.
Rodney was proceeded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife; his mother; and three sisters, Brenda Neal, Trudy White, and Dana Hayes; his three children, Tara (Randy) Swanigan, Randy (Selena) Barker, and Desirae Barker; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will held at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
