Juanita N, Woods, 85, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday (October 2, 2016) at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Wise County, VA and had spent the majority of her life in Kingsport. Mrs. Woods was co-founder with husband, Rev. Jack Woods of Spiritual Church in Jesus. She truly loved the Lord, her family, and her church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Woods; a daughter, Jackie S. Hammonds; sons-in law, Bill Waye and Keith Gamble; grandsons, Shannon Waye and Brian Gamble; parents, Harry and Florance Sweet Fannon; brothers, Harry Fannon, Jr. and Jess (Walker) Fannon; her sister, Lois Richardson.

Juanita N. Woods is survived by her children, Fay Waye Gryder and husband, Robert, Kay Gamble, Vickie King and husband, Wayne, Charles Woods; grandchildren, Wayne Pressley and wife, Susan, Angela Robinette, Eddie Hammonds, Christie Ward and husband, Tony, Ammie Warner and husband, Brad, Billy Waye, Chad Gamble and wife, Brittney, Joy Clodfelter and husband, Jon, Aaron King and wife, Lane, Adam King and fiancé, Megan, Andy King and fiancé, Alicia, Aaron Gryder and wife, Stacy, Nickey Davis and husband, Todd, and Tim Goddard and wife, Lora; 18 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Bell and Tom Stapleton.

A graveside service will take place on Wednesday (October 5, 2016) at 1 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with her grandson, Rev. Chad Gamble, officiating.

The family of Juanita Woods is honoring her request of a graveside service only.

Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Woods family.
