Mark Wayne “Red” Goodman, 51, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Mark was good at working with his hands, he was a great carpenter and a great mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and he enjoyed a good beer. He was a great person who was always there to help people. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Shirley Goodman; aunts, Debbie Goodman and Pauline Goodman; and cousin Opie Goodman.

He is survived by his brother, James Goodman of Lumberton; sister Pamela Weatherford and husband, Steve of Lumberton; nephews, Michael Goodman, Justin Goodman, Josh Weatherford; and niece, Stephanie Weatherford; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His family will receive friends at Grace Church from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday October 3, 2016. The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Grace Church Tuesday October 4, 2016, officiated by Pastor Ray McNames.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Goodman, Bubba Baker, Daryl Jordan, Blake Frazier, Randy Gage, J.W. White, and Terry Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Owen Goodman and Maybell Hall.
