Thomas came from Wilkes Co, North Carolina with
William Bohannon family and married Alice Bohannon
on June 21, 1798 in Knox Co, Tn. William, Judith
and Alice Bohannon Barnes along with Thomas and 2
sons, John and Hop Barnes are suppose to be buried
in the tent graves unmarked. The Barnes family
lived close to the cemetery in life.

in the penal sum of twelve hundred and fifty

dollars, void on condition there are no lawful

objections why Thomas Barnes and Alice

Bohannon may not be joined together as

man and wife in the Holy Estate. Witness
